This is Jaxon’s first year attending our church’s mothers day out program (Tues/Thurs 8:30am-2pm) which means this is my first chance at school holiday parties!
I always make it a point to chat with his teachers every day and we have developed a fun, little friendship. I know how exhausting it can be to be in a room full of kids all day so I try my hardest to always let them know they are appreciated.
Because of our relationship they always give me first pick at the party sign up sheet! And obviously, I try to pick the healthy foods. For our first holiday party this year I signed up to do the fruit tray.
I wanted to go the “extra mile” and include a dip for the kids and teachers to enjoy with their fruit and it was a huge hit! Plus, it only has 4 ingredients and took about 10 minutes to make!
Healthy Holiday Fruit Dip Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 cup greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Combine maple syrup and heavy whipping cream in a large mixing bowl.
- Whip with a whisk until stiff peaks begin to form (aka: it starts to thicken like whipped cream.. because that’s what it is)
- Add greek yogurt and vanilla extract and mix until well combined
- Serve with sliced fruit or graham cracker sticks
This can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for 3 days!
Super easy and a huge crowd pleaser!
Keep snacking 🙂
