I always advocate that people (especially children) get their nutrients primarily from the foods they eat. And that they only use supplements if they absolutely can not meet their daily needs through what they eat…sometimes I have to find creative ways to get extra nutrients in! And one of the easiest ways to get a toddler to unknowingly have 2-3 servings of veggies- a smoothie!
